Friday, JKK came to swim lessons for the final day, while I sat out and took pics/video.
Millie's certificate of completion! I guess I'm going to need to start a scrapbook for these sorts of things...
Also this week, we had some A/C guys come out for some preventative maintenance, which turned into 24 hours without A/C. I don't know the details...some fan they replaced busted...whatever. It was a fiasco, and the guys kept having to come back out. This meant that Friday, when the NWA temp was well over 100, our house was like an oven. Other than time out for swim lessons, Millie and I spent the rest of the day in the sunroom. Thank goodness it has its own heating/cooling system. What it doesn't have yet is shades...so no nap for Mills. She was in great spirits though and had a lot of fun playing in the new room. Here's some video of her trying to sit in her chair out in the sunroom...we were hot, so forgive the lack of clothes. Video: Have a seat, Millie!
Goose-watching: you can't see the geese, but they are on the other side of that black fence...
Millie is super funny right now...I just imagine that this next year is going to be so fun to be a part of. I'm constantly taking video to try and catch all of her silliness.
Video: Buddy chasing his tail = hilarious
JKK and Millie really have a lot of fun with this car...

I've been very pleasantly surprised at her willingness to eat new stuff. Being able to pick up finger foods has opened up a whole new world to us. Cheerios are everywhere. She can't get enough of fresh peaches and cantaloupe. She'll feed herself turkey lunchmeat, beef ravioli, cooked carrots, avocado, whole wheat bagel, and pretty much any fruit (except watermelon). She drinks tons of water out of her sippy cup. I hope her openness with food continues! However, if I don't watch how much I put on the tray, she'll shovel it all in hamster-style. She's just recently learned how to stick out her tongue, so I used that to my advantage tonight. ;)
Video: too much cantaloupe
We did manage to fit in a playdate with Cayden this week. These two are just the silliest together.
not sure why the car seat was so interesting to them

This morning, after a night of glorious air-conditioned sleep, we went to the farmer's market to stock up on more cantaloupe and peaches for our girl.
her hair is getting longer...so cute
toes in the fountain on the square
There was a lot packed into this week! Next week is her one-year pediatrician appt...looking forward to hearing her stats. ;)
