Midge Was Here.

Aunt Midge, Ryan, and baby Kyle came to see us last week!  Such a special visit...all the way from the great state of Wisconsin.  I was so very thankful to get some much-needed BFF time, and I adored getting to see Kyle again at such cute age (almost 6 months!).  We pretty much just hung around the house for four days, but it was wonderful to not have an agenda when dealing with three different napping kiddos and their crazy schedules.  We did manage to fit in a Little Gym class, a trip to the playground for some swing time, and a visit to the neighborhood pool; three "firsts" for Kyle!

Kyle and Sydney's first meeting:  only 5 months apart, so of course we are constantly joking about how we'll be showing these pics at their wedding some day ;)
Millie loved having another baby around to poke and prod on...maybe she'll be a doctor?
Swings!  goodness it was hot on our early morning walk...we were already melting by 9am.  hello summer.
Syd was holding down the fort in the stroller while we were on the swings
ermahgerd, he is so squeezable...
Millie enjoyed having all of the old baby toys back out again.  Poor Kyle had to share everything with her, and he was such a good sport about it.  She was all over the place, and I think he had fun watching her whiz around.
Thursday, our shade covering for the patio was completed, so we enjoyed hanging out there in the evenings. Our little backyard oasis. :)  I'm lobbying for some misters to be put in.
It was so lovely, and if we tried really hard, the four of us could pretend it was just like old times...except that Midge and I had to keep ruining it by going inside to either pump or feed. ;)
At the Little Gym and ready to roll...
Mills can now walk the big beam by herself!  Too bad cousin Kendyl isn't here to give us some pointers...
Headed to the pool...and clearly excited about it.
Aunt Midge and the girls...awwww
Ry and Syddles <3
Early morning goodbyes...Mills was sure sad to see Kyle (pronounced Kaow) go bye bye.
It was so much fun to get our little families together.  I hope we are able to continue doing this at least once a year.  It's hard having all of our good friends so far away, but I'm thankful we all make an effort to see each other.  Special memories...
