Love is in the air...

It's Valentine's week!  Doesn't it make you want to squeeeeeze someone?!  Me too.  Get over here, JKK.  Yesterday when I picked Millie up, she hugged me and said "I love you".  I teared up.  Oh my goodness, how I love that kid.  This is the first time she's initiated the I love you exchange.  Sad (because it goes by so fast) but also rewarding to see them grow up!

Isn't the word "mole" just gross?  I hate to taint the blog by talking about moles, but it needs to be said: if you are mole-y, like me, go get yourself checked by a dermatologist annually.  I just had another atypical mole cut off my arm in January.  Last Friday, I had the stitches taken out, and since we were in Fayetteville for my appointment, we went to Boingo Bounce!  So much fun.  It's a place for kids that has a bunch of those huge bouncy castles and slides.  This time, Syd was old enough to take inside and jump a little.  We all had a great time!

Saturday, we went to Lucy's fairy birthday party where Syd got her very own pair of tiny fairy wings!  It was so thoughtful of them to include Syddles.
It was hard to get a good shot of Millie; she had such a good time flitting around with her wand and wings.
Yet she always has a second to spare to pull the dog's hair...
Then we got to see Papa and Grandma Tricia for a quick visit...always thankful for visitors!
Millie's "cheese" face is getting more and more ridiculous ;)
Millie loves to make rainbows
I was nervous about starting up bath time together, but it has been working out really well.  Both girls seem to enjoy it.
Rough morning for Syd here...she had her first bloody nose.  I'm not pointing any fingers, but her sister may have had something to do with it.  I was out of the room at the time, but Millie looked awfully guilty when I came to pick up a screaming Syd.  I think she fell (or was pushed) into a block. Sidenote: I've been trying to train Syd's hair to go to her right side, but it keeps going back to this 80's feathered look.
When I go to pick up Millie from school, this is what always happens....the big brothers and sisters are always excited to see their baby siblings.  Cracks us moms up and is so sweet to witness.
My favorite time of day:  our after dinner playtime upstairs with daddy.
The girls get silly and we usually have some music playing...
...we call it nighttime naked time.
Check out how well Syd is standing on her own in these pics!
Ta-da!!
Whoops...it usually doesn't last long though.  She's fine, don't worry. ;)
We finally finished our coffee filter butterflies that we painted at Cayden's house a couple of months ago.  Beautiful, yes?  Speaking of Cayden, we FaceTimed today (our 3rd time with them), and they seem to be doing really well!  It is Summer down there in Sao Paulo, so it is strange to see them in tank tops and shorts, looking a little dewy with the windows open.  It is wonderful to see their faces though...Beckham has changed so much!  There is a possibility that Amanda and the boys will be back for 2 months this Summer; keeping our fingers crossed!
