Trick-or-Treat

This year for Halloween, Millie wanted to be a dinosaur.  I couldn't find a cute dinosaur costume and I didn't feel like making one from scratch.  So plan B was her favorite TV show character: Doc McStuffins!  She was so excited to put on her white lab coat and perform check-ups on all of us!  Syd's costume is Doc's sidekick, Lambie.  On the show, she likes to say "I need a cuddle".  It's pretty cute.  Millie absolutely loved that Syd was Lambie. <3

First, we went trick-or-treating at daddy's work...

...then that evening, Papa and Grandma Tricia came with us around the neighborhood.  It was so fun having them here to share in the excitement!

It was freezing!  Our first real cold day.  I had to dig out some warm weather stuff.  Thankfully, Syd's costume was super warm.

Millie was a little timid at first, and it was so cute to see her figure it out.  She was genuinely surprised that all she had to do was walk up to a door and they would give her candy.  She quickly hit her groove.

Syd did great too, and she had absolutely no shame in walking up to the door to beg for candy.

We skipped skeleton jammie pics this year, since Cayden and Beckham couldn't participate. ;)

Grandma Tricia brought her REAL stethoscope for Millie to try out.  So cool!

Halloween is done, the cold weather is here, and today is "Fall Back" for Daylight Savings.  Sigh...138 days until Spring.
