Since it was Wednesday, I took Syd to Little Gym before we went to Millie's Easter Party. Syd is just figuring out how to swing on the bars. It's hilarious and she says "wheeee" each time. So reminiscent of Mills at this age saying "sawheee" each time she would swing on something.
I made these mini dinky doozies to take to the Easter party. They were goooood. Here's the recipe from Annie's Eats
Millie loves having Syd at her parties. She likes to show her off. Works out well for Syd, since she loves party food. She wanted ALL the cookies.
It was raining so the Easter egg hunt was moved to the church lobby. Not very scenic, but the kiddies didn't care. This pic is so tiny, I know it's impossible to see the kids. This is Millie's class and her best friend this year is Hadleigh (standing up crying). Millie has a habit lately of shortening people's names, so she likes to refer to her as "Hads". It's the cutest.
Millie's 3-D craft was beautiful
Syd's egg was pretty spectacular too
Sunday morning, it was pouring outside and wayyy too cold for an outdoor egg hunt. I let the girls wear their fancy dresses and we hunted eggs indoors. All my pics were blurry. Grrr.
look at those lips!Millie has had approximately 3,000 jellybeans this Easter season
Millie's really been into braids lately. I need to start learning some new tricks.
Pics were still blurry. Double grrrr. This would've been an even cuter shot if it was in focus.
All of the trees are in bloom and the grass is turning green. It was a perfect day.
Syd refuses to go down the slide now. I have no idea why. She likes to take the ladder back down.
I love her flowing locks.
Jellybean!
Mills is looking so grown up these days. My beautiful big girl.
Syd has picked up a nice little habit of showing me her food in her mouth. She has witnessed Millie showing us her food to prove she's eating what we asked her to. Nice. I actually caught Syd's jellybeans falling back out of her mouth. Don't worry, she ate it off the ground.
sahwheeee
shaking them to see if there are any treats left
Easter eggs are hands-down the best toddler entertainment!
