Thankful for this time of year

This year, we had a small Thanksgiving feast at our house...just us and Nana.  The girls were excited for the feast and impatient to eat pie!

The girls had a great time decorating placemats for everyone!  It was actually a great way to keep them busy.

I love making people wear silly hats.

Nana helped Millie take part in the kitchen.  This is definitely something I need to get better at.  Millie is interested in helping cook and bake, and I'm not a great or patient teacher.

The following weekend, we went to Mimi and Pa's...and we got to love on Sawyer!!  Millie was in heaven.

In Mimi and Pa's castle, there are chaise lounges at every turn.  I actually looked for one of these to give Syd for Christmas.  She loves them so much and has to stop and lounge on every one.

Snapchat made Papa laugh so hard.  I haven't heard him laugh that hard in a long time.

On December 1st, our friendly elves, Juniper and Jasper, came back!  And they brought the girls the cutest Christmas PJs this year.

Random: Millie got to attend her first roller skating party.  She loved it!  Now she's asking for roller skates for Christmas.  Not sure we are there yet.  They now offer these walkers to kids, which seems totally unfair since we had to creep around the side of the rink clinging to the walls.

Now that it's freezing, we can break out our Coco hats!  Also in this pic, Syd is showing off her xmas tree puppet she made at school and using her other hand to make her bunny puppet talk.  She thinks she's so funny. (Side story: Syd came home with a hole in her pants this week, and she said we should call Coco because she's a good "sewer")
