Whoops - sorry Violet!
Syd's sticking with this hardcore cheese face. She loves Aunt Coco!
This place was so cool!
Here we all are!
Unfortunately, this place is like a maze. So many different floors and staircases and tunnels to climb through, it was inevitable: we lost Syd. Security had to get involved, and she was probably only gone about 10 minutes when they found her. I was just starting to sweat. She wasn't scared at all though; she just said she couldn't remember her way back.
Since it was a lovely day, we went to the zoo for the afternoon. Y'all know how I love a good zoo.
Our favorite part was the penguin cove! Several different types of penguins in there - we loved it! Look at this huge emperor penguin swimming behind Syd! (Sidenote: I posted this pic on fb and several people said she looks just like me here.)
Can you see all those penguins on the rocks?
Syd talked us into buying her a stuffed macaroni penguin on the way out, and she named him Saint Louis!
Anaconda! Don't want none...Edward Scissorhand type stuff deserves a group pic!
We said our farewells and everyone hit the road, except for us. We had one last stop Sunday morning...the Arch!
Syd and Saint Louis under the arch - gorgeous early morning clouds

This is us in the little willy wonka type cars that take you to the top of the arch. The girls had so many questions and were so curious. It was fun to see it through their eyes.
They were nervous about going up to the top - so high! Video: heading to the top of the arch!Busch Stadium - go Cards!

Our last trip...way different!
A couple of weeks after our trip, this came home in Syd's folder. <3
