Syd gave homemade coupons - a great idea! Millie immediately turned in the 20 sec hug coupon. Syd is funny about hugs from Millie; she doesn't allow them very often. So this was lovely for Mills.
Sorry I cut dad off, but he's always here too! So much grown up girl stuff in the mystery box this year: makeup, sunglasses, shoes, hair clips, makeup mirror, nails, etc...
This kid grows like a weed! She's at 5ft, 2.5inches and size 9 shoes going into 6th grade!
Millie chose to go back to the Rogers Aquatic Center for her birthday. It was incredibly hot this day! Shaina (from her old school) and Harper and Sadie (from her new school) joined us!

Mills had a great time! This birthday was very different for me: she didn't want me around, she just wanted to hang with the friends alone. She's still trying to figure out her friend groups and it was a little tough on her to try and mix friends from old and new schools. A valuable lesson for any gal to learn. She's heading into 6th grade pretty confident though!
Still trying to get some pictures with the "real camera" around their birthday. My skills aren't great, but Millie as a model is pretty wonderful!
