Today was Syd's first day in the jumperoo, and also her first time to eat baby cereal...3 days shy of her five month bday!
I bought that doorway jumper a few weeks ago because it took Millie forever before her feet could touch the ground in the jumperoo. The doorway jumper is adjustable, so it worked well from that aspect. However, I didn't think about how Millie would be swinging Syd all over the place in it. It made me nervous more than a few times. Plus, Millie thinks Syd should take turns with her baby dolls, so after being in it for only a minute, Mills starts screaming "Millie's turn" and wants me to get Syd out pronto. Poor Syd. Now, though, she has her very own jumperoo, which she totally loves! She really got after the jumping today:

It took her a little while to figure it out, but then she was jumping and laughing and having a great time!
After all the jumping, I figured she had worked up an appetite...so I brought out the baby oatmeal for the first time. She wasn't really sure about it, but she did pretty well eating it. She was exhausted after all of the jumping though; after a few minutes, she was tired and ready to be done.
I'm sure I'll get more down her tomorrow, but I think we can count this first time as successful. ;)
