Pumpkin Patch 2013

Took the kiddos to the pumpkin patch yesterday, and we met Cayden, Amanda, Heath, and Beckham there.  It had rained earlier that morning, so it was a muddy mess.  Thankfully, Amanda brought some boots for Mills to wear.  We got some good pics, as usual, but it was a bit too chaotic getting everyone ready and out the door for an early meetup (10am is now considered early to get all 4 people out the door).  Then you can imagine what I sounded like while we were there:  Millie, sit there...Millie stop that...Cayden do you want to smile?...Syd, quit slouching...Millie, get out of that mud...Millie, say cheese...sigh.  I was even annoyed with myself, so I know others (*cough* JKK) were annoyed but too polite (or too smart?) to point it out.  We may take a break from the pumpkin patch while Cayden and family are in Brazil for the next 3 years...I'm beginning to feel like these little outings meant for pretty pictures aren't justifying the amount of stress they are causing.  Next year, I'll buy a few pumpkins for our front porch, set the kiddos on the bench next to them, and call it good. ;)
