I look forward to pie time all year long. To kick things off, I made one of Grandma Ivy's chocolate pies last week. Millie approved.
Thursday, I finally got to use my birthday present...on Coco's birthday! We went to the Justin Timberlake concert together in Tulsa. It was soooo much fun. I was scared it wasn't going to happen though - Syd decided to be stubborn and refuse to take bottles just 24 hours prior to the concert. Thus, I spent the whole day of the concert pumping and bottle feeding her to prime her for my absence. It was a tad stressful, but everything worked out great and JKK said she did just fine while I was gone. Phew!
Seriously, the best concert I've ever been to; I've never danced and sang so much. We had floor seats and for a part of the concert, he came out in the middle of the arena not too far from us. It was more than we could've hoped for!
He did what he promised...he brought sexy back. :)
I drove back early Friday morning and that kicked off two days of hanging in our pajamas and general laziness.
The girls have so much fun with each other. Love it.These chubby little legs are getting so strong!
Millie said her leg was hot. Uhhh, okay.
Millie's new favorite thing is to walk in with this cake and say "happy birthday!' and make you blow out the candle.
Syd's new favorite thing = eating solid foodsMills keeps pretending this small remote is a phone. She always says the same thing "hello, 26, diet coke, juice box". ?? We have no idea. I guess I ran through a fast food drive through at some point and she picked up on it. ;)
We did manage to have some productive activity this weekend. Exhibit A: our shrine has grown! So hard to get a pic because our stairs are in the way. This was taken using the panoramic function on the iPhone.
Exhibit B: we put up the tree! And so far, Mills has only broken one ornament. ;)
Looking forward to going to St. Louis later this week to meet up with JKK's family!
