Summer Break

Summer break has been pretty fun so far! Millie has been working on her stage presence...

Syd's Little Gym pictures: always good stuff

Not only has Millie moved up two gymnastics class levels in the past month....

...but Syd has also started taking gymnastics at the same place.  She absolutely LOVES it.  Worth every penny to see her so happy.  I can't take my eyes off of her.  She is so joyful in all that she does.

Thankfully, I was able to get their classes at the same time!  You can't really see it because the pics is so small, but Syd is on the balance beam in the forefront, and Millie is back on the floor in the background.

I love when they spot each other during class and wave. <3

Back in the pool, almost every day!  Syd lasted one whole day without her puddle jumper.  I couldn't take it.  She's not water safe yet.  Millie, on the other hand, is pretty amazing out there.  She is doing so well and continuing to practice everything Ms. Libby taught her.

*clink*  Cheers to Nanny and her new house!  She was with us from Labor Day to Memorial Day, and it was a good run.  The girls miss her being there every day, but we've had a lot of fun visiting her new house.  The girls even slept over once already!!  JKK and I are going to like having Nanny so close. ;)

Ethyn is learning to drive!!  Looking forward to having Kendyl visit us for a week later this month!

 A few weeks ago, we got to host Abby's baby shower in Tulsa!!

Summer hair color fun

Fab Four back in action!  To get them to line up for a pic, I said "let's see who is the tallest".  Notice Millie craning her neck. ;)

We have had our money ready for weeks for that darn ice cream man.  When he finally flew past our house one night recently, we had to grab our money and jump in the car to chase him down.  NO shame.

Papa Tyson is recuperating from a broken ankle at dad's house for the next 6 weeks.  Fun to get that side of the family together (too bad we missed this one)!

We were able to drive over earlier this week after getting back from vacation to visit Papa and celebrate Father's Day belatedly.

Millie had to start over a few times.  She's going to have perfectionist problems.

I love Millie's drawings.  She made this for JKK & I.  Isn't it sweet?!  He is giving me flowers.

Syd's coloring is getting very deliberate.  And monotone.

I love seeing Syd in Millie's hand-me-downs.  And she loves it too.  She gets so excited for new stuff!

Reunited with Nanny after vacation!  We watched Finding Dory and met JKK for dinner.  It's pretty awesome having her in our part of the world!  Syd is a Nana's girl, for sure.

JKK likes to go against the norm by working on his summer beard.
