Sitting Pretty

I forgot to tell Millie's new milestones in my post yesterday.  On Christmas day, Millie began sitting up on her own!  It's so cute and has made all the difference in her playing on her own.  Now I can put her down and she's happy to play with toys on a mat; it must be much less frustrating for her than lying down all the time.  Also, on Christmas day, we witnessed her rolling from back to tummy and then to back again.  Such a clever girl...I knew she had it in her; apparently she just chooses not to use these rolling skills very often.

And here's some video I just had to get...Millie has figured out that her Bumbo chair is for feeding.  So when I put her in the chair, she automatically opens her mouth and is ready for the spoon.  It's hilarious; certainly, no one has to tell her to open wide.  This video is unnecessarily long, so if you just watch the first 30 seconds, you'll get the idea.  http://youtu.be/U41Xu3da1-k

Yesterday, we went to Amanda's house for a playdate/movie day in her amazing media room.  It was absolutely adorable watching Millie and Cayden play together.  They kept staring at each other, and then Millie would get so excited and start talking and flapping her arms.  And Cayden smiles all the time!  Ohhh, they are both just so squeezable!
