September

Grandparents Day at school - Nana got to represent, since she's local ;)
Syd had some questionnaires for fill out for the day

Syd's teacher sent me these next two pics of her in class
Ms. Elkinton complimented Syd's super neat handwriting!
We had to fill out a timeline for a school project, and we were allowed to include four significant events.  Syd had to discuss one significant event with her class, and she chose to talk about the kitties, of course!
I really enjoyed this project <3

this looks just like you, piddy ;)

JKK's bday is on the 9th, so we went away for the weekend, just the four of us.  We rented a cabin about an hour south of here on Lake Ft Smith.  It was the first cool weekend, and it was lovely!  The girls thought this candy bday card was the BEST THING EVER.  I snuck it into the cabin with us the first night, and after dinner, JKK asked Mills if she wanted more dinner.  Millie replied "no, i'm saving room for your card".  Hahahaha, can't keep a secret to save their lives!
We rented a boat for Saturday afternoon!  The girls thought it was sooo amazing.  They've only been on a boat once, and it was a huge cruise ship.  The lake was pretty much empty, so we let them drive a few times.  It was really fun!  Thankfully, it was a cool day because you can't actually get in this lake.  (It's a water reservoir so they don't allow swimming.)

"faster daddy!"

wonderful memories made...

happy birthday to our main guy <3
scooter sisters always seen riding to the neighbors houses together
When our awesome babysitter Lexi comes over, the girls have dance parties non-stop!  Whip and nae nae, Mills!
Ohhhhh snap....Nana got the girls some new shoes!
butt squeeze - Dylan was like "what was that?!"  Sorry, D...Millie is used to us always patting her on the booty!
Syd had her first cavity filled and they let her keep the laughing gas thingymabob.  She played with it for days.
One random Monday in September, Syd had a bit of a fever, so I kept her home from school.  She sat at this table for almost 2 hours straight playing with play-doh.  Her focus is amazing.
Two weeks ago, my dad went to the hospital with chest pains.  Things took a serious turn, and he ended up in the ICU for 10 days.  Thankfully, he's home now and doing well.  Scared us all pretty good though!
While he was in the hospital, I got to see a lot of friends and family I haven't seen in years.  Sometimes blessings can come from the unfortunate situations. Brandon flew in from CO, so I got some alone time with him, which is extremely rare these days.  Also pictured: Jody, TJ, Tricia, and Papa Tyson.
Such a good reminder for us all to take better care of ourselves.  You only get one body in this life.  We love you, dad!
While I was in Tulsa, JKK had to take the girls to their first haircut at a real salon.  No more of the kid places to get cuts...Millie wanted something adventurous and I wasn't going to risk it.  We had to wait weeks for the appt though, so I couldn't cancel it.  JKK really took one for the team here though; he was there for 2 hours.  The girls love their new 'dos!!

They were excited to go to school the next day and show everyone!
One day, while dad was still in the hospital, JKK took the girls to meet Coco and Luc for lunch and then check out the new Tulsa Gathering Place!
I stayed with dad, but I can't wait to go check it out for myself sometime soon!  It looks awesome; the girls loved it!
diabolical Syd...hahaaha a tad creepy and cute at the same time
Homecoming for these babies!
Pretty Kendyl is a freshman cheerleader this year!
Ethyn just had his senior pics made...so handsome and grown up!
You know I love art projects.  Amanda and I tried out the newest craze: fluid art.  Always fun!
On our 13th wedding anniversary, we had a special little family dinner at Ruth's Chris.  The girls loved being fancy!  Sadly, our lottery ticket wasn't a winner that night.
Jaspy's tummy makes a good, fluffy little pillow these days...
Fo sho, Mills.
love the ponytails Millie has been drawing
more millie art.  cute skirt.  nice fangs.
doing well in math!

this cracked me up.  coffee??  need to work on spelling, I guess...and she does NOT like soccer, for the record.

Mills is in the midst of a strong "tucked-In" phase, at the moment.
Bradford Pear
proud of her mouse she made in art
and look at the mice she actually drew herself!!

I'm not sure why, but this picture of Jasper makes me laugh.  He's always making me laugh.  I feel like Lily is my little sidekick, but I take more pics of Jasper because he's so funny.
