Spring Break

A little St. Patty's day art from Mills ;)
Super lucky Spring Break road trip on St. Patty's day - Amanda and I took the kids to Great Wolf Lodge for a few days of fun!
We made it! Yay!!
Their favorite bear to climb on. This is our 3rd trip to the "muff lodge", as millie used to call it.  We've gone every two years with the Cruiks.  This time was the best yet...the kids had so much more freedom!
It was magical!  Here is our montage video with the highlights: Muff Lodge video

Living their best life: doubling up on carbs and swimming all day. Millie and Cayden were basically inseparable.  They are both tall enough to ride the big slides this time, and they were going going going the whole time!  Beck spent a lot of time at the basketball goals, of course.
Morning yoga was comical when Syd was involved
Her face ;) so graceful
Pina Coladas are our fave!  I love my time with Amanda.
Dippin' Dots = their fave!
my girl - she did a great job of playing on her own at the waterpark, but came back to check in often. We went down the big slides together quite a bit.
Nightly rest time with the "pad" - they were exhausted and asleep by 8pm every night.
Heyyyyy, look who surprised us!  JKK came up for a couple of days of fun with us!
The lazy river was the most visited spot
silly millie - this haircut is really working for all of us when it comes to swimming.  No more tangles or rat's nest hair!
Piddy rocking the two piece 'kini!
daddy's girl
Waiting in line to get her face painted, Ms. Bossypants was happy to enforce the rule that she was the last one they could get to for the day.
Ice cream before face paint is probably a good idea
*wolf howl*
The clock tower was the place to be for all fun activities.  Mostly the parents hung out here while the kids ran around with their wands playing the quest game.

We even ventured out for dinner a couple of nights.  Overall, the kids did great!  Amazing how much difference two years can make!
On our way home, we stopped at Legoland!
This stuff is amazing!

Dorothy and Toto!
We even got to watch a 3-D legoland movie!
Ten minutes from home, Millie announced she lost another tooth!  Ha! She said Cayden dared her to pull it out.  Guess I'll try that next time! However, I accidentally tossed it out with the car trash :(
Thankfully, Millie wrote a note to the tooth fairy, and she still came to our house and left some goodies!
The rest of Spring Break was just as busy.  Thursday we went to a bike park with the Rivkin kiddos....and it was soooo awesome!

That afternoon, we helped our little friends Olivia and Emilia with their lemonade stand in our neighborhood!
JKK bought a little snack on his way home
The kitties are LOVING having the windows open and stalking the birds
Friday, we met the Hortons at the Amazeum!
We used to work with Sarah at KPMG and have managed to stay in touch over the years.  A whole lotta kids later...
Syd and Ava really hit it off!
And then it was finally time for the Sage sleepover!  Video: Millie and Sage dance routine
Donuts in the morning, of course.
Phew!  What an exhausting, but super fun week!
