Santa Pics

On Syd's half birthday, her dreams came true: she met the real Santa.  And she got to take pics with him.  And even sing with him!

She's grown!

Sawyer's mom is a professional photographer and she is the one who set up this special meeting with Santa.  The girls were so excited!

While waiting their turn, they made a sweet little note for him. <3  Millie says "you are amazing, we love you!" and Syd says "I love you and you love me."  Up top is Sawyer's name and drawings, just upside down.  It's all very sweet.

Then it was time.  Aren't these pics so beautiful?! I love them so much and will cherish them forever.  The girls loved their time with him so much.  He was actually very jolly! Video: singing with santa

We had some school classmates telling Syd that Santa isn't real these past few weeks.  We had a sit down with the girls and discussed how some people believe and some people don't...the same as with God.  We said we would never tell them what to believe and it is up to them to choose whether or not to believe in Santa (or God).  At this point, they let us know that Santa is real and nothing can convince them differently.  Syd said "I know he's real because I met him!".  So there it is: 6 and 8 still so innocent and sweet. <3
