Thanksgiving week

 Once the news of JKK's promotion was public, the girls wanted to celebrate him!  They took him to lunch at Chuy's and made a sign for his work space at home. ;)

Baggy loves to clean the ones she loves.  We've got to get her her own kitten.

Baking lots of pies at Nana's!  Actually, it was a bit much.  We over-baked in preparation for going to the Cruiks house on Thanksgiving day.  We made: a dutch apple pie, two peanut butter pies, pecan pie, cherry cheesecake, lemon bars, and two chocolate pies.  

I tried to get the girls to help me, but they were more interested in watching Christmas movies on Nana's couch with the kittens...

We are thankful for Nana and our time with her!

Thanksgiving day - the girls dressed themselves so prettily.  Syd requested a ballerina bun. <3

While waiting for lunch, the kiddos wrote letters to Santa!  Beck wants a phone.

The rest of the weekend was pretty relaxing!  Dinner at Tavola and back to the ice rink has become a routine - unfortunately, there is also a concession stand close by the ice rink with scalding hot chocolate and cotton candy.

The girls love to mix up beds - so one of the nights, we let the girls both sleep in our big bed and we slept in theirs.  Syd moved ALL of her friends in and it was ridiculous and ridiculously cute at the same time.

We decorated for Christmas!  Syd just adores Christmas time - patiently waiting for our elves to arrive on the 1st.

Millie went to Sage's birthday party sleepover at a hotel!  Big girl stuff.

So we spent time with little sister on a chilly Saturday night with movies and popcorn at home.

We also made this ornament while Millie was gone.  Makers gonna make.

Millie came home with some beautiful nails and a bad case of sleep deprivation.

So glad we went for the season pass - it's been fun for me and the girls to do this together!

The girls have improved so much!

Monday morning was SUPER tough after the girls were off school for a week and Millie still not caught up on sleep.  She's too young to understand that 4am bedtime isn't worth it. ;)
