Christmas Train

Saturday, I took the girls on a Christmas train ride!  It was supposed to just be me and my big girl, but JKK ended up going to the Bedlam game in Stillwater...so I braved the snow with both of my kiddos.  It was a little hard actually getting on the train...just confusion about where to go and it was so cold outside and Sydney needed a diaper change and Millie stuck her hand in the snow and both girls were crying, etc.  Once we got on the train though, it was a fun little ride.  We went with a neighbor and her little girl, Elle; she used to be in Millie's little gym class.  I think we'll be doing more with them in the future since we live so close and the older girls are only 6 months apart in age...yay, a girlfriend for Millie!

Millie was serious most of the ride, which isn't unusual with her first time to do big events like this.  We got a few smiles out of her though with the promise of treats ;)

Syd woke up!  This is how Millie's face looked most of the ride.

Once Santa came into our car, Millie was laying down flat behind me, hiding her face.  However, Syd was perfectly happy to have her picture taken with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.  Just wish I had put her shoes back on after that diaper change....and got her to look at the camera. :)  I'll take it though.  Way better than Millie's first pic with Santa....ha!  Wish I had a picture of Elle with Santa...she was bouncing up and down and waving at him.  Maybe Millie will be like that next year.
