Such a Big Girl

Millie seems to have grown up so much lately.  She floors us daily with the stuff she says...it's crazy.  Like last night when JKK said "damnit" under his breath.  Millie heard it and said "no daddy, we don't say that"..."get in trouble".  Hahahaha, still working on this issue!  Looks like Millie has it, but JKK and I still need some work. ;)

Finally back to MDO this morning!!

It's been over 2 weeks since she's been due to Thanksgiving, illness, then bad weather.  She was ready this morning!  I've started using the drive-thru drop off for the mornings so I don't have to get Syd out in the cold.  It's working really well, and I'm so proud of Millie.  She gives me a big kiss and then walks in with the teacher.  I can see her talking her ear off on the way in.   Such a big girl!  I love that she's growing up, but I also love that she still lets me hug her and snuggle with her.  She's been especially snuggly this past week with so many pajama days and so much time at home with me and Syd.  There have been more than a few times when I've been holding her and thought I want to remember this moment forever.   Apparently Amanda has been feeling a bit of the same because she wrote this great blog post yesterday: The Weight of a Baby.  Well said.  I'm so grateful to stay home with my girls and soak up as much of them as I can...I'm already far too aware how time flies.
