Santa Claus is Coming to Town!

Only 5 days until Christmas!  Holy moly...hard to believe.  I finally wrapped some presents yesterday while Millie was at MDO.  She was so excited to see them under the tree when she got home from school!  I think this year it will be really fun to watch her open gifts.

Syd was my helper while wrapping gifts
I snapped this quick pic of Millie giving Ms. Kimber a hug on Thursday.  I think this two-week Christmas break will be good for Mills; she's exhausted.  We've been on the go a lot lately and have had something planned almost every single day.  Thursday when I dropped her off at school, Kimber said she cried for an hour, which is something she NEVER does.
This was Millie's Christmas gift to us...hard to see the glitter, but it is a beautiful snowflake ;)
I made Syd's first Christmas art...it's sort of become a tradition and I frame them for Christmas decorations.  Not sure what I'll do when I have 25 of these things to display.  Well, I won't think about it now...
During our snow week, I tried to do a little crafting with Millie.  It sort of shocked me that she couldn't rip paper.  I am not a teacher.  I didn't realize this is a skill to be learned.  It was a bit frustrating to watch her try to pull the paper apart. ;)  I helped her a little and she did a lot on her own, once I started the rips for her.  Then she helped me glue them on.  It was a learning experience for both of us.
After being snowed in for a week, we were blessed with some extremely nice weather in the 60s this week.  We took advantage and played outside a few afternoons.  This was Syd's first time to ride in the wagon!
She had a smile on her face the entire time
Look how Syd watches every move Millie makes.  Everything Millie does is interesting and/or hilarious.
Millie let me outline her body
Then she gave me this awesome cheez face
Still loving The Little Gym: toes pointed!
This is her scared face.  She can do the beam by herself, but she wants me to hold her elbow.  She'll be moving up to the next class in January, which should be good for her to push her a bit.  She's one of the oldest in the class now and she hasn't been challenged much.
I found this super cute ornament, which reminds me of Millie's little pink converse shoes :)
Syd does the same thing Mills used to do when waiting for a bite...trap door wide open.  I've birthed some eaters.
We've been seeing a lot of Amanda, Cayden, and Beckham lately...trying to fit in as much time with them as we can before they leave!

This is so funny.  Cayden and Mills always have some very loud and heartfelt goodbyes.  Don't judge...Amanda is driving just a few houses down from the playground. ;)
This morning we played at Little Giggles, an indoor playground.  They have some random dress up clothes; Millie took a liking to this hat today.  Here, she's actually doing her patented dance move, which she calls "the leg".  I need to post some video, but I can't figure out my new computer.  Blerg.
Syd.  So snug in that carrier...she still takes a nap in it most of the time.
BFFs!  They gave each other the sweetest hug when we were leaving today...
