Early May

IT'S CONCERT SEASON!  My favorite season.  First Amp show of the year: Leon Bridges with the girls.  Pretty dreamy.
The girls had a week off of school the first week of May, and we didn't do too much.  Dentist appts and a lot of catchup. We did manage to fit in a sleepover with Dylan tho!  The entire week off, the girls slept in the sunroom.  Syd was not happy that her spot was replaced with Dylan on this night. ;)
Field Trip!  A few fellow AAA moms met us out in the boondocks to visit Terra Studios.  Clearly this place used to be a hippie compound of some sort.  Mushrooms and fairies and trolls abound.  It's a magical, artsy place...fun to walk around and take it all in.
We also made some pinched clay pots in the studio.
My dear friend Zoe and her daughter Eve, who also attends AAA
Millie and Dilly
Sydney H (far left) is our neighbor and the gal that my Syd loves to hang out with most often.  She also attends AAA!

Terra Studios is a famous for it's little glass bluebirds - we brought one home as a souvenir.  Syd loves to delicately hold it.

A fun little outing for these artsy kids!
Our bi-annual Girls on the Run volunteer stint was a bit chilly this time.
We manned the water station again.  Syd LOVED handing out water to the girls.  Can you tell from this pic how Millie felt about it?  ;)
Nana and Tim came to pick up the girls in Tim's convertible...making all of their dreams come true!
While the girls were with Nana, JKK and I went to Tulsa to meet up with Christie and friends!
Friends with her for 25 years now!
Millie lost another tooth while at Nana's...and she swallowed it, so she had some explaining to do to the tooth fairy!
Dear Tooth Fairy, I swallowed my tooth, hopefully I poop it out.  Love, Millie
Cinco de Mayo pool party at the neighbor's was right on - hard to believe it's hot enough for the pool already!
Mills spent her tooth fairy money on these fancy fake nails.  Money well spent.
Syd in a nutshell these days.  Something is itchy.  Or hurts.  Or she's tired.  Or hot.
Concert #2 = The Killers!  Such a gooooood show!
Amanda's pool isn't technically warm enough to swim in yet, but that didn't stop the Fab Four from accidentally falling in right after this pic was taken.
Lily's toe beans
Syd's love for Lily
Syd's silliness with Jasper
Teacher appreciation gifts made in car line = win-win
You guys.  We are at the point where Millie's room gets pretty disgusting.  I couldn't take it anymore, so I cleaned her room the other day and randomly found an old banana in her nightstand.  The kicker is that I don't even buy bananas.  No one in my family eats them...so where did this banana come from?!  Millie says she doesn't know and hysterically giggled.  The plot thickens...
Rub the tummy for luck
Syd's cartwheel is SO GOOD these days!  She's been working so hard on it!

Nana picked Syd up for a special one-on-one date to celebrate her birthday a little early!
Syd had the greatest night of her life shopping and going out to eat...and even eating creme brûlée for the first time!  These pics from Nana made my night too.  What a special bond they have!

Thank goodness Nana bought her this hat the night before, just in time for "pajama day-meets-hat day".  So much going on here, but she loved it all!
I wish I had saved all of the nurses notes from this kindergarten year of Syd's.  I don't know if it's Syd or the teacher that's a hypochondriac.  But I get notes from the nurse like this one all the time: "knee itchy". *eyeroll*  I seem too remember Millie going to the nurse a bunch in kindergarten too.  Maybe it's an age thing.
