May has the best weather, and it puts everyone in a better mood!
Visits to the new house to see progressLookin' good!
When nearby, we have to let Syd do the pump track a few times
splash pad cool down

I'm in this pic! Yoga has become my favorite thing in 2022. Love our little downtown studio.
Kendyl is finishing up her senior year. We are sad to miss her party and graduation, but we plan to celebrate with her when she visits in June! I wish we lived closer...
It is a huge score when the cat shelter has kittens!
Yes.
Syd has no idea how much I LOVE Garfield. I once had a hamster named Odie...
3rd grade at her new school was the best year!
Classmates wrote sweet little notes to each other and some of them made me tear up.
Writing prompts were Syd's least favorite thing about the year, but she did get so much better at them by the end!
best eyebrows
gorgeous smile
Last day of school: 5th and 3rd
Millie's school year was a bit harder than Syd's. The girl drama was so tough! Her middle school combined lots of elementary schools, so it is a big school with tons of kids and it took them awhile to figure out friend groups. It was tough to watch her have such a hard time. She made it though, and she's stronger than she knows! I was so proud of her bravery throughout the 5th grade year.
The last bobcat bash of the year and Syd won a literary luminary award (presented to kids that have shown growth or achievement related to reading or writing)! Syd didn't know she was going to be called up and her face was like a stone, barely holding it together. She has such a hard time being the one in the spotlight. She said she cried a little after she sat back down.
Momma had to cut out of the assembly quick to make that hair appt before summer break ;)
The last day of school turned out to be gloomy and rainy. Especially sad for these two, knowing it was their last year together. Marian is moving to Jeff City this summer, and Sydney is devastated. I'm so glad she found a true best friend this year, and I'm so disappointed for my girl that she's moving. Thankfully we live in a time where they can stay connected so easily!
We all love when Dad gets to participate in school pickup/drop off!
Nana made a quick trip to CO to attend Kendyl's high school graduation!
We are proud of this beauty!
School's out and Baggy is happy about it
Our first summer outing was to Chuy's and then on to Lake Atalanta
Emilia is fearless!
Sydney was at a sleepover with Marian, so JKK and Millie decided to sleep under the stars (streetlights)!
The sweetest girls
game night
Baggy will be right here until November
Sometimes love hurts
I love the cone flowers at Blake St every year!
Memorial Day pool time at ol Creekwood
Millie adores pickles. I bet her insides are pickled.
What a hunk

Emily and her girls met us out there to go crawdad fishing! Emily is such a do-er. It's good for us to hang out with them.
My kids LOVED it.

Thankful for our friends.
Syd was invited to a picnic at Norah's house with Marian and Natalia. Getting that third grade crew back together and living her best life!
Reading an actual book! There's hope for her yet...
