First day vs. last day...the transformation is always stunning!
such a cute scrapbook idea!
This pic was sent home with Syd last week...it was taken around September 2014. Such a little baby!
Both girls brought home some grass to grow. Syd's looks like a mug shot ;)
These two acted like they owned the place! We are so comfortable there...I loved knowing everyone and all of the teachers calling out the girls by name. It helps that I bring them cookies. ;) Great piece of advice from my mom (former preschool director): never ever be rude to the teachers. No matter what, it will always end up being taken out on your kids. So I like to take it a bit further and butter them up!
Millie's first vs. last day comparison...not as crazy as Syd's, but she's definitely taller and has lost some of that baby look to her face.
I like when Mrs. Kim would write the picture description...this is Millie's name, apparently.
Millie loved learning about the process of growing plants and flowers.
"Daddy's number"
This was the most talked about learned item of the entire year...watching their class caterpillars cocoon and turn into butterflies. Mrs. Kim said Millie seems to be very interested in science. Clearly she didn't get it from me. Must be from Coco. ;)
"My Plants"
"Under the Table"
My favorite item of the year...a bookmark with the cutest pic ever!
I really enjoyed putting together lunches that I knew Millie would love this year. Probably because I only had to do it once a week. Almost every time, the fruits and veggies would be gone, but some other stuff left. We may have a vegetarian on our hands. She has discovered she likes turkey hot dogs lately. She got excited if I included pickled okra, and she always requested the pink pretzel in the middle. ;)
Dance class is also going well! Her recital is next week...stay tuned.
What a wonderful year for the girls! I'm so glad they've been in the same school and get to do it together again one more year.
