Two days ago, we were enjoying 70 degree weather at the zoo. Now we are stuck at home in a snowstorm doing virtual school. February has arrived.
It was a lot of snow! Back to the sledding hill for the second year in a row.
Syd's cheeks were unreal!
This is where I really like to be when it snows...
Crazy that these downtown murals are now gone. These buildings were demolished a couple of months ago!
The zoo posted a pic of the baby rhino enjoying the snow ;)
Papa and Fred, his girl. Dad always has such a special bond with his cats. He ended up having to put her down this Fall and it broke his heart. Rest in peace, Freddie girl.
Hillery's family came over also! Kendrick is a bit too young for twister, but Vinny and Millie had a great time.
Grandma Tricia's homemade gifts are THE BEST!
Kendrick is so smiley!
A memory from several years of Millie and Papa checking the smoker <3
Syd still loves her stuffed animals (and still thinks they have feelings). Foxy enjoyed brunch with us!Reading to the cat shelter cats - very calming for all
Dang gurrrrllll, how cute is this?!
Syd loves when daddy lets her walk on his feet
Baggy got a new game! She has to move the sushi to find her treats. She's not the quickest at it, but she usually gets it done.
Gma Tricia gifts from last year still very much in use
pink toy = pupils engaged
My good friend from college, Bekah, brought her daughter Lena to visit the university of Arkansas. So we got to enjoy hanging out with them for a day! Can't believe she's old enough to be looking at college! I remember when she was born in 2007. Doesn't feel that long ago!
Syd's first sleepover with Marian was a hit! These two are such kindred spirits. I'm so happy they found each other this year.
Barbies still entertain these younger girls
Syd is such a good helper at the cat shelter!
The most purrrfect valentine's day lunch with JKK
We surprised Millie by picking her up early from school and going for a walk. The middle school no longer has valentines day parties...sad.
Syd, however, was ready to party <3
This little beauty is so graceful
Quick trip to Tulsa to treat dad to a bday lunch! 65 years young. We both like flannel.
The cats aren't sure about this Dog Man book...
We get snow, but we also get the most gorgeous winter days randomly. Come on out, Bag.
He knows how to get her ears just right, where it literally curls her toes.
Framing!
Aaaannndddd, we are back to virtual school due to weather.
I feel ya, Mills.
Millie is back on a sushi kick this year. She actually really enjoys sashimi.
Weekend girls' trip to Charlotte to see my bestie
When mommy is gone, they can count on daddy taking them out to eat.
Charlotte was such a treat! Art museum, delicious restaurants, girl time, cocktails, eating pizza in bed at 10pm watching a movie. I need nothing more in life.
President's Day drawing done by Syd! Super good job!
Nana had a moment of weakness and offered to foster three puppies for a week. What could go wrong?!
It turns out they were insanely rambunctious and not potty-trained at all...but very cute. Pretty sure it was the longest week of Nana's life. ;)
Oh hi.
Syd's entire school read Charlotte's Web together. Beautiful web, Syd.
Writing prompts are the thing Syd hates most about school, but she's getting much better at them!
The girls really enjoyed the puppies for that week tho...
