Last week, we went to Cayden's house to paint pumpkins. I didn't realize Millie would love this project so much. She really took her time and focused...it was adorable.
Mills painted two baby pumpkins (one for her and one for Syd) and Cayden painted a man-size pumpkin.
See...she was super into it.Cayden also really loves to paint...crafty kids.
Mills likes to go visit her pumpkins on our front porch.
Tuesday is always her Little Gym day.
jumping with a scarf between her feet...difficultThrowback! One year ago this week at Little Gym...showing off her bellybutton.
Tuesday afternoons, we usually playdate with Cayden.
these two crack us up
Big news...guess who's sitting up now?? She started with the tripod lean on Wednesday...
Wednesday was a rainy day, and Mills was bored so she asked to paint "punkins", so I let her at it...twice that day. Next year, I'm buying tons of those baby pumpkins for good afternoon art projects.
Thursday was pajama day at school, which was also Halloween. Meow.Syd had her scaredy cat outfit on to help me deliver cookies to JKK's work.
I love these sugar cookies. They are one of my very favorite things in the entire world. They are quite a bit of work, which is why I only make them once a year...but oh my, it is worth it. I had five of them on Thursday. Yes...five.
Here we come daddy...
silliness after school
cheesin' hard
sometimes Mills' cheese face looks like she's in pain
Trick-or treat! Millie really loved helping hand out candy. She got scared by a few of the costumes, but mostly it was small children and she did great. Syd sat and watched in the bumbo. Not a great pic, but you can see Mills is digging in the candy dish.
Whenever there was a lull, she'd walk outside to see if more were coming.
same eyes...same hair
can't get enough of the jumperoo
Friday, after a month-long break, we returned to the indoor play place Little Giggles. Mills had such a good time. She loves "shopping" at the little grocery store. They have a lot of dress-up stuff for the kiddos. Millie tried on some high heels, but she settled on these goggles instead. Good choice.
By Friday, Syddles no longer had the tripod lean going on and was full-on sitting up! She's still pretty unsteady but doing great.

More big news: Millie can now pedal her tricycle! The first day she took a big, scary spill on the driveway, so I had to get her a helmet. Momma feels much better about this.
We've really been enjoying the weather, but it looks like things are turning colder now. Always sad for us warm-weather lovers. Fall Back daylight savings was this weekend...boooo. Only 137 days until Spring!
