Goodbye Bus

Memorial Day weekend, we had to say goodbye to our beautiful "bus".  The engine caught fire while driving to Tulsa!  It was a little scary, and a little exciting.  Nobody was hurt, thank goodness, except for the bus.  The insurance company decided to total it, so we had to clean it out and say goodbye.  I was very down about it for awhile.  So many memories and road trips in that thing, including the girls first trip to the beach and first bunk beds.  Funny story: while cleaning it out, JKK found a pretty large snake skin.  Yikes!  Wonder how long he lived in there...

This was our first camping trip in it back in Sept. 2014.  Look how young the girls were!  Thankful we had so much wonderful family time together!
