They woke up to this: a little goodbye gift from J & J.
Our second year in a row to go to Paul and Emily's on Christmas Eve for the feast of the seven fishes!
And then we woke up to this! Santa did a great job - he brought the Barbie plane Syd was dying for! Plus a helicopter, new iPad, ukulele, and other goodies.
And this! Santa also made Millie's dreams come true by bringing a teachers desk AND a student desk. Plus a laptop, office supplies, and so much fun stuff to play teacher!
And this! I wonder how the kitties treated Santa in the wee hours...Looks like Santa found his note from Syd. I LOVE that she included a picture of herself. So sweet.
Millie also left a note for him near his cookies and carrots (for the reindeer). Syd swore up and down that his favorite cookie is snickerdoodles, so that's what we made the day before...just for Santa.
I love their puffy-eyed early morning pics <3
Lucky girls were very happy
Later Christmas day, Nana came over to play games and hang out. She brought the girls these kits to make their own snuggly blankets and the girls love them!
If it has the word cozy or snuggly in it, Mills is going to love it! They've taken the blankets on all of our road trips since.
Santa found this cool Cat Mom sign for Mills' desk. What a great cat mom she is, too!
The rest of winter break was spent playing teacher. Syd always had to be the student ;)Winter is a good time to play games. The girls love when the whole family plays!
Sad to see these go - receiving Christmas cards in the mail is my favorite part of December!
If you drive by our house and see this guy staring back at you, it's because he constantly asks to be picked up to look out of our peephole. He wants to go outside so badly.

Spontaneous trip to the Tulsa Gathering Place to see it's winter wonderland with our friends the O'Rourkes!
The nutcracker prince and princess were there and oh so magical!
Syd fell asleep at dinner. The holidays really wear her out!
Christmas at Papa and Grandma Tricia's - excited to get some spending money!! Shopping is their favorite thing ;)
I love this pic of Mills. She's really struggled finding books she likes to read. Currently, these Bad Kitty books are a hit, and she also loves graphic novels made for her age group.
Vinny was there and we all love to love on him. He's such a sweet boy. Millie was chasing him around and he had the most ornery look on his face!
We spent the afternoon playing Mexican Train dominos. Couldn't help remembering Mama, dad's mother, who was the first person to introduce me to Mexican train dominos! She is very much missed in our family.

Spending that Christmas money!
Getting ready for New Year's Eve at the AmazeumInstagram 2019 top NINE

New Year's Eve with our besties, The Cruiks. They surprised JKK with these socks that have Jasper's head on them!
Don't mind if I do...Syd is always carrying one of their cats around
I will title this next series of photos: the sneeze is a comin'

Open up, Heath!

Cayden's face is hilarious
I made them give me at least one cute pic
Millie won!

Lots of fun to be had with those cats ;) and lots of slo-mo videos
We didn't quite make it to midnight, but when we left it was midnight somewhere in the world. Happy New Year, Jasper! He got the midnight kiss meant for me.
Welcome to 2020...
